Exec's Pay: Obama Calls On A Class Act

Kenneth R. Feinberg is a class act who did the impossible with grace and patience in putting a financial value on the lives of victims of the 9/11 attacks. The outcome was equitable, and given the litigious nature of American society, rather extraordinary.

Now Feinberg has been named the Obama administration's compensation czar. He will have broad discretion to set the pay for 175 top executives at seven of the nation's largest companies that received hundreds of billions of dollars of taxpayer money in order to survive.
